Arafat Islamic Centre Congratulates Justice Fatimah Sodamade As She Becomes Judge Of Osun High Court

The Arafat Islamic Centre, Ilesa has congratulated Justice Fatimah Adejoke Sodamade on her appointment as a judge of Osun State High Court. 


This online medium reports that Fatimah Sodamade was sworn in on Monday by National Judicial Council (NJC). 



In a congratulatory message by the Director of Arafat Islamic Centre, Alhaji AbdulWasiu Jimoh which was sent to our correspondent on Monday said that her appointment is a merit recognition of her dint of hardwork and dedication to duties.

He said, "on behalf of the entire Management Team of Arafat Islamic Centre, Ilesa, we heartily congratulate and felicitate with Sister Fatimah Adejoke Sodamade on her appointment as a Judge of Osun State High Court  and swearing by National Judicial Council (NJC)  today, Monday, 6th February 2023.

"Having served as a Magistrate in the Osun State Judiciary for scores of years, it is our believe at the Centre that her present appointment as a *JUDGE* is a MERIT RECOGNITION of her dint of hard work and dedication to duties, and also a call for higher responsibilities and greater service to the humanity. The Centre is very hopeful and confident in her ability in this new position to dispense justice without fear and favour. 

"It is our prayer that Almighty Allah(SWT) should continue to strengthen her in carrying out her duties in this new assignment, protect her and provide her with grace, health and long life to discharge her duties as  expected, Āmīn.  Once again, congratulations on a well deserved elevation and Barakallahu Feekum."

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died.    Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife.
