The renowned Islamic institute, Markazud Da'awah, has hosted no fewer than 600 fasting Muslim students in Ile Ife to grand Iftar (breaking of fast dinner).  Check by our correspondents revealed that the Islamic institute has fed no fewer than 600 fasting Muslims within six days. No fewer than Muslim students from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), University of Ibadan (U.I) and other Muslim students from various tertiary institutions in Southwest have applied for the Qur'an competition organized by  Dpath To Jannah Media Hub. A renowned Islamic media based in Osun state, D Path To Jannah Media Hub has organized Qur'an competition for all Muslim students across Tertiary institutions in Southwest.  The head of Islamic affairs of the media hub, Ustaz Mutohir AbdulHammeed disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent on Thursday. According to him, "This is to inform all Muslim students across all tertiary institutions in Southwest that D Path To Jannah Media Hub has organized Qur'an competition for them in this Ramadan period. "The competition will be opened for application and entry from the 15th April, 2021 and ends on 22nd April, 2021. There was a wild jubilation on Saturday evening in the ancient city of Yoruba land, Ile Ife as 17 teenagers emerged winners of Qur'an competition organized by Rawdatul-Tanzeel,  a renowned Islamic institute based in the ancient city. The competition which was organised for all the young students  of the institute who are all between 9-19years of age was held at the premises of the Islamic institute at Aladala area in Ile Ife. The reciters were tested and graded based on memorisation, recitation skills, confidence and neatness.   The 17 teenagers emerged in the various categories ranging from 15 Juz'hus, 10 Juz'hus, 8 Juz'hus, 5 Juz'hus, 3 Juz'hus and 1 Juz'hu. The renowned Islamic institute, Markazud Da'wah on Friday evening organized an internal Qur'an competition for the members of the Islamic institute.  The Qur'an competition which was held at Poplat central mosque in Ile Ife at exactly 5pm was divided into three different categories. The categories which are divided from Class 1-3 with two brothers and two sisters representing each class.  However, Dpath To Jannah Team who covered the Qur'an competition observed that the sisters defeated the brothers with wide marge.  Our correspondent gathered that all representatives of each class were graded based on appearance, Hifth, Tahweed and Sawt.  While annoucing the results, the Mudeer of the Modrasah, Mallam Lukman Isa said  Adeniji Daud and Ridwanullah Olabisi who represented the brothers from class one had a total score of 59.5 while Zainab Muhideen and Roqeebah Basheer who represented the sisters from class one had a total score of 75.  Sideeq Yeke...
