The Allied Professional Muslim Women (APMuWom) on Sunday held her maiden edition of the annual professional forum in Osogbo, the state capital of Osun State. The programme which was held at Osamdo hall in Osogbo and tagged 'Striking A Balance ' was attended by scores of professional Muslim women in the state.  The chairperson of APMuWom, Hajia Fasilat Sulayman said in her welcome address that the annual professional forum was organized for Muslim women from various professions in order to foster unity, develop and encourage individual professional Muslim woman to be more productive, dutiful and successful in their career and Islam. By Barokah Oyewole Dignitaries and thousands of Muslims in Nigeria will on Sunday arrive in Ile Ife as the Standard Bearers Islamic Organisation, Ile Ife branch, is set to launch a book on political participation in Islam. This was made known to our correspondent by the SB Coordinator, Ife branch, Mr. Fatai Hassan, on Saturday.  While speaking, he said, "The launching of the book, Muslims and Electoral Process (A short treatise on position of Islamic scholars), will, inshaa Allah, take place during the press conference session of the An Nadwa Annual Scholars Colloquium which will held  at Enuwa central mosque in Ile-Ife, on Sunday, August 21st, 2022.  "One of the reasons to have a book like this is to enlighten people more about this controversial topic, political Participation in Islam."

The ancient city of Ile Ife was agog on Saturday as Rawdotu-t-Tanzeel Tahfeez and Arabic School successfully graduated another 22 full Qur’an memorisers. The graduands, who have now gained the mastery of the rules governing recitation and memorization of the Glorious Qur’an and Islamic etiquettes, were awarded certificates of completion during the official 2nd graduation ceremony of the Qur’an memorization and I'daadiyah (Basic Education ) in Arabic and Islamic Studies.
