Like the Yoruba adage, ‘eni ti o ba da’mi si iwaju a te le tutu’ an English aphorism says that he who seeks equity must do equity. I think it always holds true that we all desire what is good- whether we are deserving of this is secondary. This is a natural human quality. We crave pleasure and seek it while we detest pain and avoid it. In the same vein, we all crave a darling partner who epitomizes our preferences. This doesn’t come easy and that is why I believe that you must be a moshaallah life partner if you want one. Know that the least important thing about you is your beauty (physical looks or body structure) and that the most important thing is invisible- the purity of your thoughts, the depth of your knowledge and the strength of your attitude and character.
