Career Mentorship Program (CMP), a flagship program of a faith-based Standard Bearers Organisation in Nigeria will now hold virtually in November, 2020.  This was contained in a press release signed by its National Coordinator, Dr Abdulhafeez Bello. The CMP is a program targeted at the SS3 students to prepare them for the final year examination with a view to offering scholarships to the brilliant but indigents students. I gained admission late in 2019 and sadly, I had to wait for another seven months or thereabout before I resumed officially as a student.  I had sought admission for three years before I finally got my desired course.     The President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Ibrahim Khaleel, has died in Abuja. Khaleel reportedly slumped and subsequently passed away at his Abuja residence while trying to perform Salatul magrib prayers on Wednesday. Condoling with the NULGE and the Kano State Government over the incident, the Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed expressed shocked, saying he was with the deceased at the Government House, Gusau, along with the Zamfara NULGE officials on Tuesday. Even as the Ummah and the Ajimobi's family mourned his exit, a Salafi platform, "Da'wah Link Refutations" posted  on its Facebook page: "Late #Ajimobi was a Taagut democrat. Stop praying for him, learn #Tawheed!"   As if that was not enough, a Salafiy under a pseudo name: Abu AbdulRahman Imam Shabaaby (name written in Arabic) who apparently belongs to a different Salafiyah group released another post on Saturday 28th June. The expressions literally means: "May you sell well" or "Happy trading". However, some often condemn the usage of these two expressions or any expression for that matter that contains aje, contending that, 'Aje" is a deity in Yoruba land, claiming that since some worship Aje as the god of business or wealth, anyone who uses the expression or greets with the phrase that contains 'aje' has inadvertently invoked the god of wealth and has invariably committed shirk (associating partners with Allah).
