 The Director of Arafat Islamic Centre, Ilesha, Alh. Abddul Wasiu Jimoh has congratulated the teachers on the occasion of World Teacher's Day celebration.  In an interview on Wednesday with our correspondent, the director said that teachers were the bedrock of the development of any nation as no other profession can metamorphose without the input of teachers. He commended teachers for their commitment to teaching and learning in all public and private schools and affirmed that the government has begun to place a high premium on the welfare of teachers.  He urged state governments across the country to key into the review of welfare packages for teachers already set for implementation by the Federal Government.
