  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died. Present Salu explained that in the absence of the three kingmakers, the constitution stipulated the appointment of the Warrant Chiefs by the local government authority.   A wave of outrage has greeted reports that some Federal Universities in Nigeria have allegedly refused to accept the recently released National Examinations Council (NECO) results from admission seekers, sparking condemnation from education advocates and concerned parents. The Centre for Indigent Children Education (CICE), a non-governmental organization, has strongly criticized the development, describing it as “a deliberate denial of the right to education and an open-day robbery against innocent students.” In a statement signed by its Director, Adebisi Ishola, CICE accused institutions such as the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) and the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) of rejecting candidates who applied for admission using “Awaiting Result” pending the release of their NECO results.   A faith-based organisation, The Muslim Congress, TMC has commended the government of Nigeria for its respect for the rights of citizens despite pressure from foreign interests. The commendation follows the release of the leader of the Palestinian community in Nigeria, Abu Ramzy Ibrahim from the Nigeria intelligence agency after a month in detention.   The Muslim Congress (TMC), Osun State, has urged the Nigerian government to grant full constitutional recognition to the Shari’ah legal system alongside the common law, allowing Muslims to be guided by their faith-based legal principles up to the Supreme Court level. The call was made by the Amir Li Awal of TMC, Sheikh Abdulrazaq Abdulsalam, during the organisation’s Annual State Lecture held in Osogbo to commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.   The ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, came alive on Sunday as twenty-two teenagers graduated from Rowdotu-t-Tanzeel Tahfeez Arabic School, having successfully memorised the entire Glorious Qur’an. The colourful ceremony, which marked the fourth edition of the school’s annual Qur’an memorisation and basic Islamic education graduation, was attended by Islamic scholars, academics, parents, and dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria. Some participants also joined virtually, further underscoring the event’s significance. All 22 graduands, aged below 18, were awarded certificates of completion for mastering the recitation, tajweed (rules of Qur’anic pronunciation), Arabic grammar, and Islamic ethics.  Their melodious renditions of the Qur’an verses gripped the audience emotionally, as many in attendance were moved to tears by the soul-lifting recitations that illuminated the entire atmosphere.
