DEATH by Abdulrahman Mas'ud
Oh death! don't come to me You master with countless servants Taker of souls without consideration Walking gently like a midnight runner Oh death! don't come to me The master that doesn't distinguish Between the young and the old And without respecting the order of age. A five letters word That takes the living from the world Denying him from existing in this world And take him to an endless world. The birth of humans bring happiness Existing in this world is a show of kindness From the lord of the greatest And death comes with sadness The invisible master that brings loss To the bereaved family of the dead Bringing relief and relaxation To the ones in agony and pain An excuse to escape the vanity of life Putting a stop to the life of the living dead Even though the tears of sympathizers is a river But the dead cannot be resurrected.
