How Sisters Massively Defeat Brothers In Markazud Da'awah Qur'an Competition (See Results)

The renowned Islamic institute, Markazud Da'wah on Friday evening organized an internal Qur'an competition for the members of the Islamic institute. 


The Qur'an competition which was held at Poplat central mosque in Ile Ife at exactly 5pm was divided into three different categories. The categories which are divided from Class 1-3 with two brothers and two sisters representing each class. 


However, Dpath To Jannah Team who covered the Qur'an competition observed that the sisters defeated the brothers with wide marge. 




Our correspondent gathered that all representatives of each class were graded based on appearance, Hifth, Tahweed and Sawt. 



While annoucing the results, the Mudeer of the Modrasah, Mallam Lukman Isa said  Adeniji Daud and Ridwanullah Olabisi who represented the brothers from class one had a total score of 59.5 while Zainab Muhideen and Roqeebah Basheer who represented the sisters from class one had a total score of 75. 


Sideeq Yekeen and Musliudeen Ibroheem who represented the brothers from class two had a total score of 22 while Kabeeroh Abdul Jeleel and Taofeekoh Shittu who represented the sisters from class two had a total score of 77.



Maryam Abdul Hakeem and Haleemoh Olabode who represented sisters from class 3 had a total score of 98 while no brothers represented class 3. 




Meanwhile, Dpath To Jannah team noted that the winners were given rewards and cash at the end of the Qur'an competition.

My throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer to Osun - Salu of Edunabon

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died.    Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife. The theme was:"Migralusion: A Mix-Transnational Theory of 'Japa' Culture".
