The Sun Has Ceased To Rise by Abdul-Rahmon Mos'ud
The sun has ceased to rise
The stars have stopped to twinkle
The moon has stopped to bright
Making the moon's face full of anger
The mother earth has refused to cry
Making all it inhabitants suffer
The seed that cease to grow on manure
Picked from a dead adult
Lying low beneath the rug of nature
Not being able to be nurtured
The dead leaf from it mother tree falling
Brown colored like an inflected patient coughing
The burning tree of winter
Standing with it root deep in water
The rising of the sun from west to east
No, its rising from east to west
The darkness covering the earth in the day
Leaving the moon with no ray.
