Special Halqoh: Residents, Students In Happy Mood As Sheikh Ismail Busayri Set To Deliver Lecture On Sunday In Ile Ife

Residents and scores of Muslim students across tertiary institutions in Ile Ife have expressed happiness as a renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ismail Busayri is set to deliver lecture at the special Halqoh program organized by the Markazud Dawah




Recall that the Halqoh program is aimed at educating the Muslim students on Islamic and academic knowledge. 


However, it was learnt Sheikh Busayri will deliver lecture on the topic "Dealing with Struggle:  Islamic Perspective:Tafseer of Suratul Baqorah(Q2 vs 211-214)" on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at Poplat Central Mosque, Ede Road in Ile Ife by 2:00pm. 




A glance through the program as received by our correspondent shows spiritually filled, thought provoking and highly educative lectures that span through different fields of Islamic knowledge such as Tafseer, Hadith, Islamic civilization etc.

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died.    Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife. The theme was:"Migralusion: A Mix-Transnational Theory of 'Japa' Culture".
