Jubilations As 55 Non-Muslims Embrace Islam In Osun (Photos, Video)

The joy of the Odeomu Muslim Ummah in Osun State, South-West Nigeria could not be quantified as no fewer than 55 non-Muslims embraced Islam, the only true religion ordained by Allah for Mankind.



The reverts,  embraced the religion after comparative sessions at the In Quest of Eternal Bliss (Part 2B) hosted by the Odeomu Muslim Community in conjunction with the Academy of Islamic Propagation (ACADIP) at the weekend.


Leading the sessions, Mallam Yusuf Adepoju, the Chief Lecturer of ACADIP, dug deeply into the Qur’an and the Bible, giving an insightful comparative analysis of salvation in Islam and Christianity.

The reverts gave their testimonies on the stage, giving accounts of their journeys from darkness to the light (Islam).

My throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer to Osun - Salu of Edunabon

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died. There's urgent need to rebrand Nigeria Immigration service for structural responsibilities- Sociologist

   Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife. The theme was:"Migralusion: A Mix-Transnational Theory of 'Japa' Culture".
