From the way the Modrasah is called, one could almost get the taste of what it would be like. The modrasah sounds sweet in the mouths of the elders and the young ones. It is with a certain, deliberate thoughtfulness that could not be found in the way other Modrasah and Arabic institutes  are pronounced especially with its ways of training and teaching Muslim students.



Markazud Da'awah Wa Thaqohfatil Islamiyyah is an Islamic institute based in Ile Ife that always organise Modrasah for Muslim students (both male and female) in Ile Ife and its environs. 


The Modrasah which always hold at Poplat Central Mosque beside OAU campus gate usually take place on every Friday 4pm - 6pm and Saturday 2pm - 6pm.

The Islamic institute engages the Modrasah students on how to recite Qur'an, Tahfiz class, Tajweed class Arabic class (Nah'u and Sarf) and many others. 




Therefore, the below are reasons why Muslim students in Ile Ife should attend the Modrasah.



1. The Modrasah has competent tutors who are vast in both Quran and Arabic knowledge


2. It has conducive environment for learning



3. It has well structured syllabus for students



4. The Modrasah fee is affordable. It is just #1000 per month. 


5. The Modrasah engages students in Tajweed class

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died.    Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife. The theme was:"Migralusion: A Mix-Transnational Theory of 'Japa' Culture".
