BREAKING: SB Organises 3-Day Dawah Conference For Muslim Students Across Nigeria, Set To Commence Today

The Standard Bearers Islamic Organization (SB), Ile-Ife, Osun State has mapped out plans to organise a 3-day Students' Dawah Conference (SDC) for invited Muslim students across some tertiary institutions across the country. 


Our correspondent gathered that the SDC program with the theme 'Redirection of Thoughts' which will feature soul inspiring lectures, media conference, personality profile, singles gist, Quran competition, inter campus football march and lots more will hold at Ibikunle Lawal College, Parakin, Ile Ife between Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th September, 2021 with a fee of N1500. 


Muslim students who are are willing to apply for the SDC program are urged to contact 09096832205 or 08103692449 for registration.


Speaking with our correspondent, the Chairman of the SDC program, Ustaz Ajibola Badrudeen said: "This program is part of our activities aimed at assisting higher institution students to be goal oriented and purpose driven.

"It's aimed at impacting sound  Islamic views and thoughts, so that they can be positive influence in our society.







" We hope to use the program to help create a synergy between our higher institution students across the Southwest zone and beyond. This is expected to spread our message of unity and cooperation on common goals among these group of students.


"The program is  designed as short duration, high impact program".

The program of events made available to our correspondence showed that highly influencial scholars have been invited to  program.
Participants are assured of a highly rewarding stay in the ancient city of Ile-Ife.

My throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer to Osun - Salu of Edunabon

  The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty Kehinde Oladepo Adesoji, Akinrinsa 11, has reaffirmed that his throne doesn't affected with Kingship case transfer from Court of Appeal, Akure, to Osun. HRH Adesoji stated this in a phone conversation with Pressmen on Thursday. He said that there were three Kingsmaker in Edunabon Olosi, Monigbere and Olukotun, adding that Olosi was appointed in Sept 30,2015, Monigbere died in 2006 and was not replaced before former Salu, Oba Elijah Omoboye joined his ancestors. According to him, HRM Omoloye passed away on Aug 4, 2017 and Emmanuel Olaniyan, Olukotun, also died on Nov 30,2017, three months after the demised of Late Salu,Oba Elijah Omoloye died.    Prof. Adebusuyi Adeniran, a Professor of Migration and Development Sociology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has called for urgent need to rebrand Nigeria immigration service (NIS)for true structure and responsibilities. Adeniran stated this during the 407th Inaugural Lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, at Odududwa Hall, on Tuesday, in Ile-Ife. The theme was:"Migralusion: A Mix-Transnational Theory of 'Japa' Culture".
