Oh Garment Lady By Oyewole Barokah

Oh Garment Lady

Oh garment lady
Must you cover yourself
From head to toe
Even when the weather is foe?

O yes, my Slay Queen
Why must I walk naked
When Allah had me clothed?
Why should I prefer a fleeting weather
To an eternal hot weather which He had
Me protected already
For indeed, the fire in hell is more intensive in heat.

Oh garment lady!
Your face is bare
Without any makeup
Why not add some
To bring out your beauty.

My dear Slay Queen,
Impeccable is Allah who created me
Flawless is my creation
Nothing is left for me to make over
In my speech, lies my beauty
And in my heart, lies my beauty
Move more closer to me and you
Shall perceive the fragrance of my beauty.
For indeed, fleeting is the facial beauty.

Oh garment lady!
You wear an enticing smile
Here and there in all miles
Is that also a worship smile?

O yes, my Slay Queen
My smile is indeed a charity
That  that cost me no cent
And among all the best
That I can afford to give daily to melt
The heart of my people.

  4. My brothers and sisters turn to Allah before you return to Him. Remember that we will account for all our deeds.

    Sis Baarokah well done.
